Summary: Dumfries reports to Bedwyn that he has been to the bishop [of Glasgow] to obtain Bedwyn's institution [to the church of Old Kilpatrick?] but the bishop said that this was not possible because is situated amongst the Scots. Dumfries may keep the church [of Bothwell?] which he has in the name of Ralph de Manton, but he no longer wishes to deal with Wrennoc del Pol, and asks that he may render his final account for the fruits of the church to James Dalilegh.

Stamp on back notes that the document originated from the Remembrancer's office, a post Bedwyn held in the early years of Edward II's reign, presumably explaining the survival of his documents in TNA.
