| Summary: | Writ to the treasurer and chamberlain to send the king a transcript of the foot of a fine levied between Robert de Percy and Archbishop Gray of York in 1225, concerning the advowson of the church of Dunnington. The copy is attached, by which Gray acknowledges that the advowson belongs to Percy, and the parson should have the use of two tofts and common of pasture there, and Percy acknowledges that all lands of his fee held by St Peter's, York by gift of his ancestors in Dunnington, Grimston and Hewick should be held by the archbishops as a free prebend. |
