Summary: Memoranda of letters to Simon de Swanelond [Swanland], dated at Kirtlington (Curtlyngton iuxta Wodestok) [Oxfordshire] on 24 April 1330, at Leicester on 3 May 1330, and at Chacombe on 1 May 1330, concerning the purchase of 1000 or 500 florins, then reduced to 500 florins, and an order to the archbishop's receivers in Gloucestershire to deliver 200 marks to Simon and Thomas [de Swanland], his nephew, for purchasing those 500 florins, required for prosecuting the archbishop's cause in the Roman Curia against [Lewis de Beaumont] the bishop of Durham.
