Note: On 4 Feb. 1306 Eure was instituted and inducted to Welbury, and also received leave to study until 24 June. As a member of the prominent Eure family, he presumably received the benefice well before he was actually qualified to take on the role. Clearly a relative, possibly the brother, of Thomas Eure, rector of Kirby in Cleveland, who received similar appointments at the same time.
