Accused of adultery with Agnes, the wife of John Dyrlaunde of Gloucester, Crokes had cited John Hamelyn, rector of Holy Trinity, Gloucester, to appear before the official in York Minster to answer unknown charges. The bishop requested that the case be settled by the prior of the hospital of St Oswald, Worcester. |
