Summary: Certification to the archbishop from John de Trouwell [Trowell], rector of a moiety of the church of Trowell, concerning John son of Walter Touke of Kelham, clerk, who had been imprisoned by Walter de Goushill [Goxhill] and his fellow justices for the robbery of Gilbert Gerdelere of Newark, but had been allowed to leave the archbishop's custody without purgation. He notes that Touke had been in the custody of Henry de Halum, then vicar of St Mary, Nottingham, the former archbishop's commissioner, but he had been released on security and then secured a royal pardon (insert).

Sutton has denied the assize, claiming that Oscyngton is illegitimate (insert).
