| Summary: | Certification to the archbishop by Master Thomas Weston, licentiate in laws, canon of York, following receipt of a commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at the archbishop's castle of Cawood, 1 February 1405, of execution of inquiries into the vacancy and patronage of the church of Kirby in Cleveland, to which the abbot and convent of Whitby had presented John Bollesore, following which, Weston had performed the institution of Bollesore and ordered his induction; stated to have been sealed with the seal of John Barnet. |
